Ali Mickelson
Ali Mickelson is an attorney and the senior director of advocacy and education at Humane Colorado, where she oversees the advocacy and animal protection programs. She serves as the vice chair of the Board.

Jay Pusey
Jay Pusey has been VP of Marketing at Only Natural Pet since 2014. He holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and brings experience from Pet360, PetFoodDirect and community development with the Peace Corps.

Chris Groll
Chris is a retired M&A attorney who practiced at Holland & Hart for 25 years. She and her husband live in Castle Rock and while they are currently between dogs, they are the parents of a nearly adult human.

Sara Gleason
Sara is an Operations Consultant and formerly the Director of Internal Strategy at Humane Colorado. A member of the Colorado Pet Pantry Board since 2022, she currently serves as Chair of the Fundraising and Special Events Committee.

Sherice Shiner
Hello my name is Sherice, and I work at La Puente. I am passionate about local food systems and addressing the immediacy hunger puts on our rural communities. I am excited to be of service.

Ingrid Wicker
Ingrid is the Deputy Executive Director at Nourish Colorado and a lifelong pet person, currently co-leading her home with Leo (he’s very involved). She believes all creatures deserve food, love, and a cozy place to nap—no exceptions.

Eileen Lambert
Eileen Lambert is a former journalist and marketing professional who has worked with nonprofits and for-profit companies including Water for People, Outward Bound, and Ignite Adaptive Sports. She founded the Colorado Pet Pantry in 2013.

Kelly Edwards
Kelly has always found her solitude in the company of animals. She joined Colorado Pet Pantry in 2019 and believes no one should have to choose between feeding themselves or feeding their pets. Kelly primarily focuses on Administration, Communication and Marketing for the organization.

Marie Hackett
Animal welfare has always been Marie’s passion and being part of Colorado Pet Pantry feeds that passion. This work increases her ability to reach out and help more animals in more ways.

Karen Collins
Karen joined Colorado Pet Pantry after working in nonprofit technology, consulting and leadership development. Karen is at her best when building community with and for others through her WILD values of wonderment, inspiration, learning, and drive. Her rescue dog, Chief, is a black Labrador who makes sure she enjoys the Colorado sunshine and walks everyday!

Manuel Arizala
Manny came to the Colorado Pet Pantry after working in hospice, therapy, non-profit/NGO organizing and a few business ventures, and found a stronger passion in bringing people and pets together through the Colorado Pet Pantry. Manny’s dog is Nola Belle, aka Ms. Whistles a short German Shepard-Rhodesian Ridgeback mix.

Paula Labbitt
Paula loves helping pets and people and Colorado Pet Pantry makes it possible to do both together.

Donna Maurer
Donna is originally from Chicago. She has always been interested in helping animals. She has worked at the city shelter and trains dogs at a nearby humane society. She has 3 large dogs and 6 cats.

Laura Bierbower Peyton
What started as volunteering became a passion for Laura, who loves connecting with pet parents across Southwest Colorado and building a community where no pet gets left behind. She shares her life with her three senior dogs, cat, and husband.

Karen House
Karen has been involved with Colorado Pet Pantry since 2018. Connecting with and making a meaningful difference in the lives of animals, their people, and the community is gratifying and close to her heart.

Cindy Marintzer
Being a part of the Colorado Pet Pantry is incredibly rewarding – helping keep pets with the families who love them, reducing shelter intakes and supporting the community. It’s inspiring to be part of such a compassionate team making a difference for both people and their furry companions!

Mark Mascardo
Mark enjoys connecting and building partnerships in the community to keep pets fed, healthy, and out of shelters. He believes every pet deserves love, security, and full bellies across Colorado.

Sara Randall
Originally from Southern California, Sara joins Colorado Pet Pantry with experience in early childhood literacy and community health programs. Her dog, Dave, is the best boy and loves going for walks around Sloan’s lake.

Nikki Tollefson
Nikki joined the Colorado Pet Pantry team in 2021. A lifelong animal lover and people helper, Nikki is happiest when making the world a little kinder—especially for pets and their people.

Dorian Macdonald
I’ve long supported animal welfare, from middle school sanctuary work to volunteering with shelters. After raising triplets, I focused on rescue, leading me to the amazing work of Colorado Pet Pantry.

Part of the Colorado Pet Pantry family since 2020. Retired from a career in education (Digital Film Production) now making abstract photography for show. Home is Lakewood, two children and three grandchildren nearby.
